This bracelet is well crafted and substantial -- nice weight and presence. It's wide enough to be noticed but not manly, although I am sure this would be great for a guy as well. I have a large hand and I can slide it on and off with a little effort, thus not having to unclasp it all the time, but it won't slide off by itself. The packaging was beautiful-- a handmade paper box with a leaf motif so this would be an excellent gift. I have seen similar bracelets elsewhere and at the sites of higher end catalogs and I don't think they could match this piece in quality and beauty. LOVE this bracelet.

The color and look of the leather and silver beads look very much like the photo on the site. The leather is dark brown and the silver becomes shiny over time. Initially, the silver beads looked brown when I got it out of the box, but once I cleaned it up - it looks great. Sometimes the leather comes off the large silver bead that holds it together, but it won't come off your wrist. I've bought things directly from NOVICA before, and it takes forever for those items to arrive - from now on, I'll check overstock.com first before buying from them as it arrived in several days as opposed to several weeks.

I would purchase this again. It was shipped promptly; came in a nice gift-box, and is a unique, lovely bracelet. Just keep in mind that it is a stiffer leather if you're looking for something softer.
