The locket is a dirty frosted not clear. The locking mechanism doesn't work well. I haven't worn it yet, still haven't figured out how to keep it closed.

I just bought a necklace with this exact locket and it cost me over $200. I wish I would have seen this first. I bought the hexagon one to from here to interchange with my costly oval locket and it really is the same locket only in a different shape! Love the quality and look. You'll be very happy with this locket.

This locket is a lot larger than it looks in the picture. The glass is not clear it has a weird greenish tint to it. Also, it is very poorly made. The materials are very poor and it is hard to stay locked. Not worth the money.

I bought the oval locket, it was as depicted on the page. I was fairly impressed with it, however I thought it was quite expensive for the locket I received.

I was excited about this locket because of the unique look and the fact that it was handcrafted. Upon receiving the locket, I was disappointed and returned it because it was not worth what it cost.

I think mine may have been somewhat damaged as there are marks like tool marks on the round part that you turn up and down. I think someone took pliers with teeth to it. I couldn't return for an exchange at the time since they were out of stock and it was for a gift.

The locket is beautiful and as described in the ad. The ad had stated it came with a necklace chain and when I contacted Overstock (because chain was not mailed with it) I initially had problems with their outsourced on line chat staff. Without my doing anything else however, overstock contacted me via email and corrected the situation promptly. I am hoping they change their ad so others don't expect more than is actually being offered. Overall- I'm very satisfied with my purchase and overstock's handling of it.

This is a unique piece in that it is entirely clear. In that it was specifically what I was looking for, I was very pleased when I received it. It is well made and substantial. I was looking for a piece of jewelry in which to place a lock of hair so that I could view it at all times w/o opening the piece. This does that perfectly.

This was perfect for my mother-in-law. It's nice and big so she can see the pictures. It's different because you don't have to open it up to see the pictures. And it swivels so you can see both sides without taking the necklace off and turning it around. The locket and chain seem well made. Nice & different piece of jewelry!! Would recommend.

I ordered the hexagon locket as a gift. It is very sturdy and well made. A really unique piece that is heavy and seems like it will hold up well. It is nice that you can see the pictures without opening the locket.

I love this locket. It pivots so there is no recto and verso. I put pictures of my kids in mine and it's lovely.

I purchased the hexagon locket and was surprised at how heavy it was. I wear mine empty because I like the look of the clear glass. I think maybe they should have a measurement guide next to the piece. But still, a very nice and unique piece of jewelry.

This is a beautiful locket. My only wish is that it had been just a little bit larger.

arrived with tiny crack that appears black. this is a heavy piece for a chain. otherwise it is an interesting locket. i will not bother with return but would say poor quality for the $$. we love overstock, but you would be better off trying something different.
