Story Behind the Art:
This unique piece of jewelry is the result of a talented small family business in Jaipur, India. Jaipur is considered one of the biggest gem cutting centers in the world, and almost all of the goods are produced by talented artisans working in their homes, allowing them to stay in their villages without being forced to migrate to urban centers in search of scarce factory work. Traditional handcrafted arts and techniques are kept alive, and as the artisans' talents are in demand, they receive better wages than the average worker. Helping people earn a decent living where none would otherwise be available is something to be proud of and a lesson to teach future generations.

Very pretty but...
A great pendant for the price. I still love the pendant, even with the flaws so I am keeping it.
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? The peridot is a gray/green. Can't really tell it is a peridot.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The peridot is set crooked

Beautiful, but slightly disappointed
Almost everything about this beautiful pendant was right on the money! The only problem is the bottom gem -- it is shown as lovely green peridot, but the stone I recieved was a very dull grey. I know peridot can come in different shades of color, but grey?? I thought it was unattractive, but kept the pendant because it grew on me -- the rest of the pendant is marvelous.

Great for the price.
I feel the picture made this look a little bit nicer than it did once I got it. It is still very pretty though and a good deal for the price.
