Story Behind the Art: Artisan Alfredo Inga comes from Catacao in northern Peru. 'Catacao is considered the City of Filigree,' he says. 'I began to learn this art when I was 11 years old, with friends who taught me little by little. I enjoy it because a jeweler's work is a delicate art. My inspiration comes from nature, especially from flowers. I was awarded a scholarship to study with a professor from Israel and was offered the chance to teach filigree in there. But I love Peru too much to leave.'

I was so excited when I purchased this ring, because it comes from Peru, one of my favorite places! Peru is known for it's silver and I have a couple of pieces of jewelry from there, that I wear almost daily. This ring is beautiful and the filigree work is lovely, but it's not a ring to wear everyday and you have to be careful when you do wear it.
Did the color match the color displayed onsite? Silver is silver
Please tell us about the quality of the product. Too flimsy. I was wearing it and it was misshapen when I took it off.
