Story Behind the Art:
'Hi, my name is Udayashin. I was born in Bali, Indonesia. I started my career in Merchant Navy for several years. With enough savings with me, I decided to work for myself. This journey led to silver crafting and semi-precious jewelry designing. It took tremendous efforts to design and market my jewelry at first. With the support of my family, I started a home workshop. Slowly it grew to include our neighborhood artisans. I have taught them what I learnt about the jewelry designing and now we are capable of handcrafting versatile Bali designs with semi-precious stones. I am happy to be of some help to my neighborhood artisans in maintaining a decent livelihood.'

I had my doubts about this pendent, since the lighting showed different shades of purple. I had already made up my mind to return because of misinformation I got 2nd hand from the warehouse. They had said it was a light shade,. Well for $$$ I wasn't going to keep an inferior stone. But much to my surprize the color is rich, deep and more like an African amethyst. I put it on a choker made of little amethyst beads. Talk about beautiful, this is the most gorgeous necklace I own, plus purple is my fave color.
