Nyoman Rena is a versatile artist in Bali specializing in wood carving and silver work: 'I began to learn how to carve wood when I was in the third year of elementary school. My grandfather, an architect of traditional Balinese buildings, was also a senior carver, was very supportive of me. Then my father introduced me to a leading silversmith in my village, and I began to learn from him on Sundays. Now I use my experience as a carver and as a silversmith when I design my pieces.'

The Moon Ring
I literally counted the days until my ring arrived. I love is very much. The only problem is that it fits bigger that usual. Reason being that because the stone is set higher than expected. I got it for my pinky finger. but had to get is resized.

Excellent ring!
When I first got this ring I wasn't too excited. It was lighter than I expected, it wasn't as vintage looking as it was in the picture, and the stone was a lot lighter. But it has really grown on me and here is why. First off, the craftsmanship and detail on this ring make up for the lack of weight; it is very well made and stands out wonderfully. Second, after a few days the background darkens and the lion really pops out. This ring gets a lot of character. And third, the stone is lighter but it is truly incredible. I realized that I didn't pay for the silver. I paid for the amazing and intricate detail and the blue moonstone. The stone was worth all the money because when you tilt it slightly you see the beautiful phenomena of adularescence. It's almost as if I have the northern lights in a little capsule. Again, this is a truly incredible and unique ring that will get a lot of positive attention.

Lion Moonstone Sterling men's ring
Was going to cancel due to long processing time, but cancellation went in too late and it shipped. When I got it, however, I was so impressed with the excellence of design and artistry that I decided to keep it. Good value for the money after all.

Love this ring!
I bought this piece because I like unique pieces. This ring is everything I was looking for and more. Once it first arrives, it is very shiny. But once you wear it for a few days and get it wet, the ring will come to it's own, and you will see the true craftsmanship that went into making this ring. Great Buy! Excellent!
I got this for my manfriend as a Christmas gift, and he loves it! It is masculine, handsome and unusual. It is very shiny when it first arrives, but after a few days of wear the silver tarnishes so that the design becomes more defined and pronounced. The stone is enigmatic-one second blue, the next grey and white, or grey blue with glimmers of yellow, depending on the light... If you are considering this ring, go for it! It is a great piece, especially at this price.

ring is light , wanted thicker shank so it wold wear more durable for everyday use , price point is a little high, but still a good value for the craftsmanship of the ring style.I like helping atisans too feel good about helping encourage handmade craftsman.

after reading the reviews I bought this ring. It is exactly as discribed by the other reviews. It has a very high polish on it when delivered. The stone looks great and the detail on the ring is nice. I can't get past the hollow back though, feels cheap on my finger and uncomfortable for me. I'm returning just because I don't like the way it feels on my finger.
