Story Behind the Art:
Born to a family of silversmiths, Jantana learned the craft at an early age. 'My dream is to one day have my own jewelry workshop and work on my own designs. My parents have retired and I work with my sister. My designs are crafted by hand. Sometimes I create a piece of jewelry designed by an artist to display in museums, both inside and outside Thailand. I also create jewelry for new designers who want to test their market with small quantities.'

Problem clasp
This is a charming, unusual piece, one which people notice and comment on approvingly. Its only problem is the clasp, which is small and difficult to work. This is no problem if there is another person there who can secure the necklace, but it's (almost?) impossible to do on one's own. It's a beautiful necklace, though.
