This is a beautifully crafted piece, but it appeared a little more ornate than I expected (larger and brighter), and therefore does not work with my current jewelry. The hinge is large and dominates the delicate piece.

I was disappointed because I thought it came with a chain. It is nice, but since it is a gift and this is what my daughter wanted I am going to keep it.
