Story Behind the Art

Necklace is made in a small studio in the North of Israel in a town called Tivon. The studio is owned by Avihu Zur, a master craftsman, painter, organic farmer, gourmet chef, and father of five. Avihu's studio employs many talented jewelers including Bedouin women who come from nearby Arab villages. Avihu is known for his pioneering and superior quality craftsmanship with roman glass jewelry which he sells to fine galleries on four continents. The silver used in this jewelry is also 90-percent recycled. Needless to say, the 2000 year old roman glass shards are also recycled!
