Although these earrings are very pretty, the description given in not accurate. The description states the stones are Baltic Amber, Onyz and Garnet. The third stone is not a Garnet, but another Baltic Amber (like the stone on the top. I would probably not have bought these earrings had I know the description was misleading.

Very nice item, look great on. Have been a customer for a year and have been happy with all items purchased from Overstock. People walk up to me and ask where did you get that piece of jewelery, I tell the online at Overstock.

These items look exactly in real life as they do in the picture on this site. So, to determine how they will look, do not go by whatever the description says. Look at the picture and figure out if that is what you want. Anyway, these earrings are gorgeous and I am thrilled by them! They are also heavy, which is important to me, because lightweight earrings tend to look cheaper and bend more quickly. I love the amber-onyx-amber color scheme and also love that the hook is long, which makes it virtually impossible for the earrings to fall out. Lovely!

I received these today to give as a gift and was disappointed and pleasantly surprised. I was disappointed that, as others have stated, the stones are amber on the top and bottom instead of the garnet pictured. But, pleasantly surprised that the craftsmanship is much better than what is pictured. The metal around the settings is smooth and solid and more uniform than pictured. The stones are more uniformly sized than the picture as well. These are substantial earrings both in length and weight. If you expect the stones for the top and bottom to be the yellow amber, then I would recommend these.

Nice looking earrings, but in the photo it appears as though each stone is a different color: red, brown and amber. In fact, both the top and bottom are amber and the middle stone is brown. Not exactly what I was hoping for.

They are bigger then what they look in the picture...............this is not a bad thing. I get a lot of complements. They are awesome!! The stem is wider then most.

If you have small earlobes, don't buy these. They are a bit heavy, but I like the look.

I do like these earrings. As written by another reviewer, the garnet at the top does not look completely red or maroon; has a tinge of brown. Apart from that the earrings do look very attractive. My only suggestion to make it better would be make the loop, with the closing mechanism, at the back short; probably positioned at the back of the garnet instead of the lower end of the earring. That way they would not stand out too conspicuously. I would still recommend this product, will be great with a dressy outfit.

The earrings are pretty. They clip together at the bottom so they look a little blocky but you aren't going to loose them. They look good with fall clothes

The earrings were a little heavy but the colors and texture were nice. Each stone had it's own character. The earrings can be worn with many colors. I gave them as a gift, but wish I could have kept them.

These earrings are beautiful! I love them!! The clasp makes them safe so they can't fall out, but not too heavy. The colors on the stones are very brilliant and match my stly from casual to dressy.

Heavy but not uncomfortable. The colors are a little more "brown/yellow"....not tri-colored stones as pictured in the picture. Still very beautiful and nice fall colors. For the price, I am very pleased.....wish I could get a necklace/bracelet to match.

these are fantastic, the colors are amazing. They are a little bit on the heavy side but that is just because of the quality of the silver and stones. Try them, you wont be sorry!

the earrings i got had different colored stones than the ones that are in this picture. i really liked the stones in the pic, so i was a little disappointed to see colors that i was less enthused about when i got the earrings. that said, the earrings are beautifully made, very striking, and i have found lots of ways to wear them-- they dress up a lot of outfits for work and going out.

These are a bit pricier than I normally spend on a pair of earrings but I'm glad I did. They are quite striking. They are good-sized, weigh quite a bit and the clasp/closure is easy to use.

I recently purchased these earrings & have worn them only once. They were nice looking & comfortable, but the entire gem setting of one broke off from the stem wire and was lost as I didn't discover it until I removed them. I intend to return them & would not recommend that anyone take a chance on the samething happening as it may be an across the board quality problem.

I LOVE these earrings! I have received many, many compliments on them. They feel substantial but not so heavy that I can't wear them all day. I read here that one reviewer was not so pleased with the lack of contrast in the stone selection. My pair has a top amber-purplish stone, then the onyx and lastly a pale yellowish stone. I'm sorry the other reviewer's pair was a little disappointing but my combination is quite nice. If I were to lose them, I'd buy them again.
