Story Behind the Art:
Made Kencana learned the silversmith art from a family member. 'He taught me after school and at that time, the tools were still very traditional. I first learned to hammer silver by hand and sometimes I'd miss and hit my hand! When I was learning to place tiny silver granules, I'd fall asleep. But I was eventually able to craft earrings by myself.'
