This beautiful filigree necklace features three ancient Roman glass panels interspersed with spiral patterns. This unique necklace is made with sterling silver, measures 17 inches long and has a spring ring clasp.
- Roman glass shards in this piece date from 100 BCE to 300 CE, and were unearthed in Israel by archaeologists sifting through the fallen pillars and once magnificent cities of the Roman Empire

Story Behind the Art:
This piece is made in a small studio situated in an agricultural village called Bnei Tzion. The studio is run by Ika and Rami Hamburg. They have developed the unique way of setting roman glass, stones and pearls into the silver, which is to inlay them rather than bezel-set them, so that all these tiny materials are all hand-placed and create a rich mosaic texture and look.

Beautiful design
This is a beautiful piece. Is it really Roman glass??? Without certification it is hard to tell. However, it is very pretty, but a bit light in weight. I attribute that to the high cost of metals. The cost was right considering all it's other qualities. It looks great with casual or fancy attire.

Love the intricacies in the design of the necklce.
Overall, I love the necklace. .the color of the inlays was just as pictured. I am a little disappointed in the size of the pieces in the necklace but wear it proudly.

Disappointing
As soon as I opened the box I knew I would return it. It looked so beautiful on the website but as another reviewer said, it is much flimsier and cheap looking in reality. The glass is pretty but this particular necklace is not worth any where near what I paid for it. I returned it immediately.

Fabulous!
This necklace looks FABULOUS on my neck! You can't really tell that from the photo but it lays beautifully. I would love to see a matching pair of earrings for this.

Wouldn't recommend. Am sending this back. For the money, you would expect a heavier, better quality necklace.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Really cheap looking. The necklace isn't heavy at all (like it looks to be) and the chain is really cheap and flimsy. The stones aren't heavy but ARE small and light.
