I expected smaller gems, but got larger ones. It seems out of proportion with the necklace that I ordered to match it. Overall the quality is good and the workmanship is also. I love the quality and depth to the stones. I recommend them.

Bought as a gift for someone. Did not like the quality or the product. We kept the earrings, but not impressed with them.

I love these earrings! They are beautiful and fun. I wear them whenever I wear purple. They are the perfect accent. They are good chunks of amethyst and a deep rich purple color. They are one of my favorite pair of earrings.

The earrings apart are both very pretty. The amethysts have interesting striations of white in them (which I didn't see in the illustration on Overstock.com), but one amethyst has significantly more white than the other. Also, the amethysts are cut and polished in rough shapes, but one stone has a square in the middle and the other has a diamond. Both shapes are fine, but they don't MATCH. I didn't expect a perfect match because of the style, but these two are noticeably different from each other. The beads on top are well attached, and complement the big stone well. I find them to be a perfect size, but a little bit heavy. I'm still deciding if the different looking stones bother me enough to return them. What DOES bother me is the amount of packaging Overstock used to send these to me. The little sack was wrapped in a big UPS plastic padded bag, which was then stuffed in a 3"x8"by 7" box, which was put in yet another UPS envelope. Not very green . . .

The earrings were very pretty and well made, and looked wonderful on. I would recomend these to everyone. Very true to the description, and there were no flaws that I could see.

This earrings are a lot bigger than they appear in the picture. this would be nicer with smaller stones.

Nothing fancy or to write home about but a good birthday gift for friend who has everything, stones do have some flaws like chips and cracks but it seems to be a part of the earrings

Exactly as pictured with excellent workmanship. Hangs at the perfect length and light enough not to be annoying. The small gems that hang above the amethyst are small enough not to distract from the color and allure of the amethyst itself yet add to the overall design. Well done and good value!

they were a birthday gift and very well appreciated by the receiver. The amethsyts were a nice color and go well with a lot of different colors.

They are pretty and a lot of friend of mine gave compliments. But I wish the amythyst stones have more vivid color. For my taste, it was too light. They are a little heavy but manageable. One of stones has a little chip where the wire goes through but it not noticeable unless if you look close under the light. I decided to keep them. returning it would be too much hassle.

The beauty and quality of these lovely earrings surprised me for such a reasonable price. Each time I wear these, I get several compliments on them. I even returned months later to purchase a second pair as a gift for a dear friend. You will not be disappointed at all!

Bought as gift for my oldest niece (20-something). I never can tell what my female relatives will like or dislike, but this one was an instant hit. She put them on immediately and kept them on all day. They look to me like something worth a great deal more than I paid.

I purchased these as a gift, and she loved them! They were just as described, not too big or too dangly, and not too small. As an added bonus, they arrived within two days - much quicker than I expected.

These are incredible earrings, but they are extremely heavy. These are the kinds of earrings that'll make a person's piercings start to drag and--perhaps--split, if not caught in time. I have been debating giving them away or trying to figure out how to wear them more comfortably. They match to the "T" with two amethyst nugget bracelets [tv shopping network :o) ], so I am trying to keep them [lobe wonder adhesives, etc.]; still, they Hurt @ the end of the few days I have worn them from the weight....but they are Gorgeous :o( .

The picture does not do these justice. The gems were a little bigger than they seem in the picture. They were a gift for my mother and she absolutely loved them. I would definitely recommend them because they are gorgeous!

I think these earrings are interesting and pretty. They have striation running through the stone, which makes is unusual, and I like unusual items. Good value as well. I would recommend if you like unusual jewelry that you don't see on everyone.
