Story behind the art:

Marco Antonio Florindez Jauregui was born in the city of Chachapoyas Peru in 1978 currently residing in Lima. Since childhood I always had an inclination for design, at that time and at a very young age I remember that I had no toys and no possibilities to acquire it, I always saw my cousin with his trucks and he told me I want an equal one, so I went to the river that I was close and collecting stones with this I invented my own cars and toys and they made me very happy since they were invented by me and to my liking. This is how my childhood life happened and when I was younger I study mechanical maintenance in the SENATI of the city of Cajamarca, obtaining there the necessary knowledge to work steel and translate my own ideas into metal, With my classmates and with the support of a teacher we created a life-size human sculpture based on scrap metal, which was exhibited for three years at the Fongal Fair in this city, once these studies were completed, I returned to my place native where I dedicate myself to the teaching of mechanics in technical colleges. After a while I decided to arrive in Lima with the purpose of complementing my knowledge of mechanical metal with those of design. It was so that I started studying interior design at SENATI and could not finish it due to economic problems, however I always kept in touch with friends we studied together, so through them I learned about the 3rd national locksmith contest where I participate and arrive at Being one of the finalists feeling very proud. For me the design is all the components that can be used, my specialty is the work of cold metal and I try to make the most of the materials that others commonly give as waste, nothing is undone everything serves that reminds me of my childhood as of a pebble made me a truck; clear within my fantasy and creative mind. My works I try to make them simple but attractive and innovative, one of the great Spanish architects Calatrava took it as an example, I print my works aerospace detail, I also like Inca iconography, looking to give my works a different hue to what normally seen in the market. For me what I do is fun sometimes I don't sleep inventing designs, when I manage to do it and the end is not really what I thought or dreamed; but I go on and on until I get to my nightly dream and then I am proud because I achieve what I was looking for, and the most interesting thing is that you finish a piece and another one comes to mind. ... each work is a way to express what in real life we ​​cannot do or say, my art I do it seeking to defy gravity ... My biggest dream is to achieve a size where I can do my works and also to be able to help artisans from my province who, like me, have not been able to achieve their dreams,
