Story Behind the Art:
The kurti fabric is woven into beautiful designs on power looms by artisans who have been following the trade for generations, toiling day and night to give the cloth its intrinsic beauty and cool nature. Besides weaving, a fair number of kurtis have further attractive designs embellished on them by skilled artists. Color block printing by hand, hand-painting by talented painters, sewing on bejeweled embellishments by craftsmen to produce unique designs are just some of the efforts that go into making these extremely comfortable and fashionable kurtis.
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.

I can't stop the compliments from coming my way when I wear this top. I wear it with some skinny jeans and a nice set of earings. I can actually say that I turn heads when i step into a room.Read More
I like the design, but not very comfortable. To tight in shouldersRead More
Love the color and fit of this top. It can be paired with jeans, capri's, slacks, or leggings. Everyone asks where I got this top when I wear it. Love it!Read More
The shirts appearance is misleading. The garments overall shape and quality of the beading was not as it looked on the website. The sleeve length in the picture appeared longer. In the picture it gave the impression that the sleeves were wrist length; the actual length is just below the elbow. Overall I am dissatisfied with the blouse.Read More
I loved this shirt and was excited when it arrived. However, I am broad shouldered and though I nomrally wear large or XL the Xl in this shirt was way too small. WhenI took it out of the box I knew it was going to be because the shoulders were abotu as narrow as the shirts my 8 year old daughter wears. I did try and it fit everywhere but across the shoulders and chest. Otherwise I would have kept it. I would recommend if you are a woman with narrow shoulders.Read More
It's like a work of art! Keep in mind, the embellishments are quite noticeable but being that I'm Indian, this does not bother me at all. I wear Medium (8-10) and therefore bought a Medium (chest 40 inches) and it fits like it was made for me. It falls just under the butt and the sleeves are long - not 3/4 quarters as stated above. I can't wait to wear it in Spring. If you're still in doubt about the sizing, go to any Indian sari/lehenga store online and look at the equivalent in measurements. Hopefully, you'll be able to figure out your size.Read More
Best value for Money and perfect fitting and quality is all I can say for this Kurti.Read More
This is lovely top and the look is great for dressy casual outing, BUT if you have broader shoulders or are well endowed about the bust, do not get this top. Buying a larger size will only make the top look disproportional.Read More
This is a beautifully crafted tunic. The color is not as light as pictured, it's almost a khaki color, not really yellow at all. However I can wear this color, so I kept it. I am large chested, and usually wear a large in tops (sometimes XL) and this fit a little snug around the chest. Beadwork is gorgeous and received many compliments on it.Read More

How to Care for Amber Jewelry
Amber is an attractive but delicate ornament. Popular for its deep golden color and natural patterns, amber decorates both antique and modern jewelry, from beaded necklaces to rings and earrings. Handmade amber jewelry from places like Poland, Thailand and India lends an eclectic look to any outfit. This jewelry requires special care, as amber is soft and can be easily damaged by even mild chemicals. If exposed to sudden changes in temperature, amber can crack or even break. For these reasons, care should be taken to protect amber jewelry when wearing, cleaning and storing it. With proper care, your beautiful jewelry will last a lifetime.
Popular Types of Quilts
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
