Sanjeev Saxena says, 'I was fifteen when I first took tools in my hands. My father used to teach groups of young artists and I used to sit with them and learn the art. I did have lots of fun with my friends but, at the same time, I was keen to join the family tradition. We have been working in this craft for generations. I am from Agra, where there are many localities that master different kinds of crafts. Ours specializes in jali or cutout stone art.'
