They dates back millennia and have been worn around the world in one form or another. Balinese and Javanese artists have been creating sarongs for centuries. They are known worldwide for their expertise, especially their skill in batik, Many of our sarongs are made using batik, a centuries-old design method handed down from generation to generation. It is an extremely difficult art to master and children must start this work at an early age because it requires a great deal of practice and patience. Each batik sarong is an individual work of art that can take hours or days to create.

Nice color and size
The design is subtle, (not precisely like pictured, but I expected that, as it's the nature of handmade products) and the color really is dreamy. Great fabric weight. Heavy enough to drape beautifully, yet supple and soft for tying smooth knots.
