I have purchased several pearl necklaces from Overstock.com and this necklace was a huge disappointment compared to the others. The pearls are not uniform in size and almost all are of an odd, irregular shape - not round at all. Also, the size of the pearls can't possibly be 7 to 8 mm. Frankly, it's cheap looking. I would also describe the color of the pearls to be more peach in color. I find it hard to believe the quality of these pearls can really be AA. Again, I'm comparing it to the other pink pearl necklaces I purchased from Overstock.com. Finally, this necklace is supposed to be 21" in length - it is not even close. The one I received was 18" long. This necklace is not worth your money.

The necklace came as PINK-not silver pearls or even white. The clasp looks so much like exaggerated childrens costume jewelry these items should only be sold as play-time dress-up and pretend items only, even at this price-NOT A GOOD VALUE! The cheapest looking pearls I have ever seen, even at this price. NOT A GOOD VALUE. I'll never buy jewelry online again.

This is a very pretty, versatile necklace that one can wear with anything. The pearls have a good sheen and the clasp is both sturdy and attractive. In natural light, the pearls are almost a candy pink, whereas in incandescent light, they appear to be a golden pink.The only disadvantage is that the pearls are not individually knotted. Therefore, there is a risk that they will scratch each other. If a strand breaks, one might lose a lot of the pearls. Personally, I recommend getting the necklace restrung with individual knots so that it will last as long as it should. Although this will cost me extra, I am still glad I bought this necklace.
