The Story Behind the Art
Traditional Tibetan jewelry incorporates various colorful stones and 'Tibet Silver' to form its unique appeal. 'Tibet Silver' is actually made of white copper with other metals. Based on the traditional Tibetan jewelry style, a talented jewelry designer from Shanghai has designed her series of Tibetan style jewelry and handmade them in her family workshop. Unlike the traditional Tibet Silver, she incorporates 60 silver along with other metal to form the unique metal color. Like many young artists, she has decided to add her own twist to the old and traditional arts to keep these traditions alive and evolving.

Loved this bracelet
The details on this bracelet are wonderful. However, the loops where you attach the hook to close the bracelet are way too weak. The first time it broke (during second wearing), I found it and repaired it. The next time I wore it, it fell off and I was unable to find the bracelet after discovering it was missing. Was going to buy a second one, but saw from the reviews that other buyers had the same problem.

Beautiful but poor quality clasp!
Like others, I agree that this is a substantial and beautiful anklet. However, it broke and fell off the first day I wore it. I was walking through the Bellagio Casino in LV and thank goodness for the marble floor so that I heard it when it fell. Otherwise, I would have kept on walking. While the anklet is a good weight, the loops to secure the clasp onto are of poor quality. The loop loosened and simply opened. I plan to take it to a jeweler to see if stronger loops could be added.
