Story Behind the Art:
This jewelry was made in a family-operated studio run by two brothers in the mountainous jungle region of northern Thailand. One of the brothers works on purchasing gemstones from around the world, while the other designs the jewelry and works with the artisans. The artisans are local hill-tribe women who use the proceeds from their work to attend school and support their families while sustaining their traditional way of life. When you purchase from AsiaEXP you are not only receiving an exceptional product, you are also supporting the artisans who created it and enabling them to pursue their craft.

Amethyst Bracelet
The bracelet broke after having it for only a week and a half. Since the stones are so small I could never repair it myself and it wouldn't be worth it to take it to a jewlery store. I am very disappointed in the product and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. This is the first time purchasing from Overstock.com and will probably be the last!!
