This scarf was a gift and it was beautiful! It was not heavy and the silk and craftmanship were wonderful. I also liked that it was handmade and goes to help the people who make these items. The person who received it loved it!

I like to keep "spare" gifts on hand so I am never caught off guard if someone gifts me unexpectedly. It's a horrible feeling to be empty-handed. This is now my stand-by for good female pals or work-related folks who appreciate the finer things (without me spending a million bucks.) Great gift box and NOVICA gifts always seem more personal and pulled together. As noted, you will not spend anything to wrap it, as the gift box is well made, distinctive and pretty. It comes with a detailed card on the person who created it initially and has info on cleaning and storage. The box I received was a ruby red box (lid) with black base - both fabric and the scarf was folded very carefully and thoughtfully. The interior designer who provides our business with a lot of work is extremely detailed and focused on quality. SHE RAVED ABOUT THIS SCARF! Photos are true to color to what I expected and would probably favor someone fair-skinned with green or hazel eyes but would look gorgeous on an olive-skinned maiden or persons with more dramatic coloring. Different, unique and great presentation! No one will be disappointed! Perfect again, OH-verstock!

The scarf is so lovely!! I really do love it! The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is much smaller/shorter than the photo shows. Still nice though.

green color was a bit brighter than i'd expected. purchased for a gift for my mother. she loves it. very pretty. and came in a pretty little box. took a little bit longer to arrive than some of my other items b/c it'd come so far - but was still very quick overall.
