Melati's Collection is borne out of a fascination with Indonesian textiles. 'Art has always been a part of my family. Batik has a divine beauty evoked by its design, with a deep idealistic worth from the merging of Hindu-Javanese and Chinese cultures. I try to make something special and different with batik textiles. I select the finest silk batik to create fashionable gift items.'

Beautiful fan!
I purchased this fan for my mother this past mother's day. And she adores it! It is beautiful. The detail, color, and quality absolutely exceeded my expectations. My mother uses the fan only one day a week... Sundays in church, but it has held up all this time, 5 months and counting. The case that it came in was plain, but nice as well. She simply tosses it in her purse on her way out the door, so the case has definitely taken a beating and it holding up just fine. I would definitely recommend this item even for general display... it's BEAUTIFUL!
