Story Behind the Art:
Le Souk Ceramique strives to keep the artisan spirit alive by making all our ceramics by hand. All our artwork is done free-hand, meaning no decals, stencils, tracing or machine painting is used. Subtle variations will occur from piece to piece due to the handcrafted nature of this product, adding to its unique qualities.

Beautiful Mugs, Excellent Artistry!
We are coffee drinkers in our family, and having the right mug is VERY important! Too thin, your drink gets cold, to large, your drink gets cold before you are done. This is cup is the perfect fit; it feels good in the hand, holds 12 oz,, which I can drink before it gets cold, andit hold the heat very nicely. I think these will hold up for a long time. They are absolutely beautiful, the handpainting is consistent, the colors are warm and cheery, the overall design is charming! I was very happy to find that these are dishwasher and microwave safe. I might have to look at the other Le Souk products (plates and such). I just bought some plates/bowls at Pier One that are beautiful colors, but, sadly, chip as easily as looking at them. These also came packaged so well, I think you could throw the box off truck and none of them would have broken.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very nice quality; the ceramic feels fairly dense and sturdy
