Made in the same workshop for the past 12 years. Mr. Mahmoud Abdel Nabi was born in the Egyptian countryside and moved to Cairo at an early age. Mr. Abdel Nabi has worked in the field of marble, alabaster and stone for most of his adult life.
What is Worldstock?
Alabaster products are manufactured by hand, using alabaster from every commercial quarry in Egypt. Alabaster is a natural, translucent marble which can vary in color from a clear lemon color to a rich shade of mango orange or even a very light cafe au lait. Each piece will be unique and variation from the photo should not be considered a flaw.

Great value
I already have a set of Egyptian alabaster globes (also purchased from Overstock.com), and thought I was buying the identical product to replace some that are broken . The smaller ones I have were approximately the same price. This set is more beautiful than the first. The alabaster is a better quality and has more attractive coloring, and the craftsmanship is better. Fortunately I can use them in spite of the discrepancy in size.
