The artistry of Javier and Efren has been featured in periodicals ranging from Sunset magazine to the Miami Herald. Since the 1990s, Javier Gutierrez and Efren Canteras have worked together to preserve Mexico's blown glass artistry. 'This type of work is a beautiful craft. I love blown glass because of the pure imagination poured into every piece created,' confides Efren. 'Even though the art of blowing glass originally came to Mexico from Spain, and it is practiced all over the world, Mexico's blown glass artistry is unique,' says Javier enthusiastically.

color disapointment
PURCHASED FOR A CHRISTMAS PRESENT DAUGHTERS COLOR SCHEME IS RED MOSTLY GLASSES ARE NOT AS SHOWN ORANGE & YELLOW IF IT WASN'T SO MUCH TROUBLE I WOULD RETURN ITEM

I love these goblets. Unfortunely I bought them as a gift for someone else, who also loved them. I think I need to get myself a set.

Gorgeous glasses
These goblets are stunning. The colors are beautiful and are very 'sunny'. They are a substaintial weight and don't seem like they would be easily broken. They were packaged very well for shipping - no chance of damage. These would be a great gift or purchase for yourself! The only other comment I have is that I was intending to purchase wine goblets, and with the fluted rim these aren't exactly wine goblets but more like parfait glasses. However, that might make them even more useful! Highly recommended - so beautiful!

what a disappointment these were!!!! the colors were more of a neon yellow and red as opposed to an elegant gold. they looked inexpensive. not recommended in the least, and the only reason i am giving two stars is the fact that the glass is heavy and substantial.

Beautiful Artisan Glassware
I ordered 2 sets and each of the 8 Goblets has its own original slight variation of the overall blown design. They are gorgeous and it is rewarding to know that the artists who created these goblets Javier and Efren from Mexico who belong to NOVICA are getting recogniztion and compensation for their artistic accomplishments. Love them!
