Story Behind the Art:
All of these oriental alabaster products are made by the same workshop and have been for the past 12 years. Our artisan is Mr. Mahmoud Abdel Nabi, who was born in the Egyptian countryside, but who moved to Cairo and grew up there from an early age. Mr. Abdel Nabi has worked in the field of marble, alabaster and stone for most of his adult life. Oriental alabaster is a translucent marble found only in Egypt. The ancient Pharaohs utilized this marble in many aspects of their daily lives and religious ceremonies. Its use in Egypt has been carried down to the present day. Of course, giving work to people is called 'opening homes,' here in Egypt. To be able to help people by giving them work, is not only a responsibility, but a pleasure.
What is Worldstock?
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.

MUCH smaller than they appear
This was the most overpriced waste of money i have ever made. You'd be lucky if you could put one flower in each of these cup-sized "planters". The picture is EXTREMELY misleading. Save your money and opt for a better set of bigger holders. I made the mistake of buying two sets...and now i look like I have a very nice set of drinking glasses.
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? No
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Good quality, but sooo tiny!
- How accurate was the sizing? No sizing was shown in the description...the cacti in the picture made them appear much bigger.

WOW!!! SUPER NEAT!!!!!! I did not reallu look at the size. They are smaller than I was thinking....but again didnt really check the exact size. They are sooooo neat though. One of a kind item. Love them.
