    Hand-carved from solid mango wood, then meticulously wrapped with white metal sheets, these candle stands have a warm, organic texture and reflection. The twisting design of these candle holders will definitely add a special touch to your home.

    Product Features:
    • Reflects the flicker of candle light beautifully

    • Holds candles with a 3.5-inch diameter inch or less
    • Tall pillar stands at 22 inches high x 5.5 inches diameter
    • Small pillar stands at 18 inches high x 5.5 inches in diameter

    Story Behind the Art:
    This product was created in Central India. When the British removed its armed forces from the region in the late 40s, a majority of the industries available for the local economy went with them. The indigenous people went back to the traditional crafts and furniture manufacturing that they had known for generations. These candle stands were made by two families; one family works with wood, while the other works with metal. Together they create items that they could sell together. It has proven to be a very beneficial relationship.

  • Unique and very large candleholders

    Bought these for a housewarming gift and I love them. The recipients loved them too. Only one problem: could not find candles in a 3 1/2" in diameter.....anywhere! Started on this website with no luck. Finally had to settle on 3" candles, but clearly the larger would look far better. Also, 4" candles are too big and will not fit, although the appearance would be lovely.

    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. These candleholders are perfecty imperfect! Since they are wood covered with metal, they are heavy and substantial!
    • How accurate was the sizing? Just as I'd expected from the description and picture.

  • Lovely

    These are imposing and can go anywhere you might want something larger like on a hearth. They're really quite beautiful and look very expensive. I'm quite pleased with the purchase.
