'I'm from Thailand where my parents had a shop that sold hardware and wood. I would help them in the business while I was studying in school. I found that there were many skilled carpenters in my area. After I got married I purchased some of the work being done by these wood-workers for my home. Many of my friends and family found that the wood-work in my home was very interesting and I decided to start selling it at the shop. The items sold well and people loved them. Now I design my own wooden decorative items using both intricate and simple lines.'

okay but not great
I was a little disappointed with these. They seem to be made of strong cardboard rather than wood - very light and look like they'd break easily. Luckily they were packaged really well for mailing, but I'm concerned they just won't last very long. The color is not nearly as dark as what is pictured.

Damaged
I first got the round set they are good , but when I got this set of candle holders both the peices reached me damaged. I will be sending them back.I would have rated this item as a four if it was not damaged.The item is very light like it is made of cardboard and not wood.
