Story Behind the Art:
Ghana's Dan Quaynor recalls, 'While working as a field coordinator for various international organizations, I became interested in helping artisans find a market for the pieces they made from available rural/natural resources. Soon I realized that I truly enjoyed designing products and I began to create a wide variety of items based on my own designs. I now provide on-the-job training for ten people in my workshop. I am married and have a son.'

pretty!!
These hooks were for the bathroom for a hand towel or to hang the hair dryer on. They are very pretty, unique, and functional. The blues and greens are lovely, like sea glass.

Beautiful handiwork done by people who need the money.... at least that's what was told to me and I choose to believe it, whether it's true or not. Can't believe an awful lot you're told these days, but I love these hooks and I'm glad I bought them. Took a while to get here, but hey, they're made in Ghana!
