Story Behind the Art:
Akwasi Agyeman was born into a family of 12 children in the small tribal village of Foase in Ghana, West Africa. The family was so poor that Akwasi was limited to only a 7th grade education in order to help his father farm to feed the family. In 7th grade his teacher asked each of them to make something for art class. Akwasi produced a fertility doll as his project and amazed the teacher. Akwasi knew then he had a natural talent for carving. After ten years and with the help of fair trade, Akwasi is now married with two handsome boys. He employs 15 people and has built a small three bedroom house for his family. Akwasi and his fellow artisans hope you enjoy their work.

Love the Table Design
I got this table to use as a side table for a chair in a sitting room. It works well for that purpose. The table is light and care must be taken not to knock to over. I love the design, great price, fast delivery.

I left a former review that I don't see. If you can get one of these that has a straight table top and that doesn't tip, it's a great little table and a bargain. I had to go through several tables to get one that works. If you're willing to go through this, you'll like the table.

Very small but nice
The table is very small and I would worry about its stability with a coaster and drink on it.. Yet it is decorative and I use it as a piece to fill a vacant spot in my living room.

Lights out
I love my "little" table. It is not big enough for a lamp, but I have a large plant on it, and it displays nicely. It is a very nice piece of furniture, but should not be considered significant. I do not regret making this purchase, at all. I would just like for the next buyer to consider the size and their needs before making a final decision.

The details on this table is beautiful.
The table is beautiful it matches the decor and bring out its custom made style where it stands along and get compliments. It has an aroma of the wood which is sweet smelling. Overall the table is nice and beautiful. Not too. Small but sturdy.
