Product Features
Known in Mexico as Pewter, Estano in Spanish - Authentic Mexican Pewter is an alloy composed of aluminum, copper and silica. (Aluminum for brilliancy and sheen, copper for malleability and silica for strength.) This incredible alloy was developed years ago by Mexican Metalworkers, who were working to find a durable substitute for precious metals. (This alloy is not the same as traditional European pewter which contains high quantities of lead and is produced by a completely different process). Each item is individually fired and hand-cast in sand molds, one piece at a time.
What is Worldstock?
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
