Since I know zero about Tajines and was buying this as a wedding present I did NOT know the difference between a serving ONLY tajine and one you can cook in. It wasn't until I opened the box (thankfully, because I had planned on wrapping the wedding gift), that I saw a sticker that said, "serving only.". I called the shipping company and to my display you can only SERVE on this one. The cooking tajine is not nearly as beautiful as this one, but oh well, I had to reorder. It is what it is, I suppose. My fault, but maybe a little education literature in the description might help people like me. Thanks!

This is a beautiful piece of pottery, the shade of turquoise blue is so pretty and the artwork on it is beautiful. It was well packed, arrived in perfect condition, I LOVE IT
