This factory is located in the Guangdong region of mainland China and run by a wonderful family that we here at Overstock.com have befriended over the course of several years. The father is the main person in charge and employs many family members. Day to day operations are run by an aunt while the son is being groomed to take over once his father retires - all of this family greatly adds to the quality and productivity of this factory. Over 300 skilled and non-skilled craftsman work together, passing knowledge and craftsmanship from generation to generation. The working conditions of this group are excellent. The workers always seem to be smiling and are often excited to have new visitors. The factory provides an excellent lunch each day for the staff (my stomach can attest to this), the workers' clothes are clean and the environment seems organized and well run. Attending strictly to the local and international anti-dumping and fair trade practice laws, Oriental Homes is proud to bring a piece of their culture into your home.

classy organizer
I like the organizer...good wood, solid construction. beautiful finish, and pragmatic in the way you can move the wood slots to accomodate spatial needs. My only disappointment is with the size of the bottom draw because you cant fit a regular size paper; the draw is smaller. Nonetheless, I bought two of them and they make a niced addition to my office.

Stationary Stand
Absolutely perfect....definitely worth every penny. Love the fact that the inserts/dividers can be removed, if necessary, to make room for larger items. Beautiful brass hardware on the front on drawer. The wood is finished , inside and out..even in the drawer and the back and bottom of stand.

DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!
This could have been a beautiful desk fixture, but mine came with most of the the center pieces not fitting. Because it was so heavy to carry to the post office for send back, I kept it with regrets.
