Story Behind the Art:
This product was created in North Western India. Once the British removed its armed forces from the region in the late 40s, a majority of the industries available for the local economy disappeared with them. The indigenous people went back to the traditional crafts and furniture manufacturing that they had known for generations. Several hub cities of industry have flourished, creating numerous, sustainable, and stable jobs for the people of the surrounding villages, to augment the time between harsh growing seasons. The industry that has been created by products like this has created an unprecedented number of schools, hospitals, and improvements in infrastructure. This industry has truly created a renaissance in economic growth in the region.

Beautiful, but smaller than i thought
i bought this table a while ago. The style is perfect because i have a contemporary/ japanese decor. But this little table is too small to use in my living room. I use it in my kid's room, next to his bed.

Tiny Table
The table design is wonderful, it is just too small for American furniture; it is dwarfed by anything but a very small chair-too bad!

Love these tables
I was definitely pleasantly surprised by the quality of these tables. I bought two to use as bedside tables and they work perfectly with our low to the ground platform bed. They are remarkably sturdy and the extra shelves are wonderful for storage.

Rosewood Kishu Side Tables
We ordered 4 of these for our new office, and they have fit in quite nicely. They certainly look real nice and are reasonably sturdy and well designed. They are a bit small, though were as described. A good deal for the money for sure.

Much shorter than I'd realized
You'll need to measure carefully, to find a place where this very short table will work for you. It's beautiful -- but not useful for where I'd intended it to go.

- How accurate was the sizing? My fault: I should have measured the sofa it was going next to: it looks like a little dwarf next to my large sofa!

This is a small table. Perfect to put into a corner or use as an end table. I like to move it around in my living room. This is a sturdy piece of furniture. and it come already assembled. That was the best part. All I had to do was take it our of the box and it was ready for use.

Small table well made
The table is well made and very pretty. I needed something a little larger but it will find a home somewhere other than our livingroom as a side table.

Perfect fit
Love this table. It's perfect for next to the bed to hold books, etc. on the shelves and provide an unobtrusive spot for charging phone and ereader. The table is very solid and heavy. Love it.

Tables were nice but too low for the couch
I bought these for my daughter and son in law for their living room. They had to return them because they were to low. Only 17inches high. The tables were nice and well made, but not functional for their room.

Perfect
No assembly required. This table is very sturdy and is an excellent side table for me to keep a "work in progress" on lower shelf and a libation in reach on the top.
