The Story Behind the Art:
Chinese ceramic stools date back to the Ming dynasty. Our garden stools are 100-percent handmade by high fire process. The color of glaze will not fade or change. They function as an extra seat, foot rest, small table, plant stand, cocktail table, etc. Made in Jingdezhen (Jingde Town). It has been termed the 'Porcelain Capital' because of its production of quality china. It has a 1700-year-old history of china production. There are thousands of workshops in Jingdezhen, generation after generation.

This is orange not red!!
Looks beautiful in my sun room with all my plants. I use it as a place to set my coffee or cold beverage while I rock and read.

Red/White porcelain stool
I was a little thrown by the "red" color, but when it came, it looks more orange...like the picture. I am happy because orange is what I was hoping for! I love it, and it looks great on our Juliette balcony! Yea!!

This stool is gorgeous. I was thinking it could be used as a side table but it's a little too short, but it's sturdy enough to be used as a stool. The painted detail is beautiful.

Great buy
Another positive review for this stool. The color is dark persimmon red on a bright white background. This is not candy apple red. It works great in my bathroom which is finished with slate floor and shower tile, brown speckled granite counters, cherry finished cabinets, and slate blue walls. It's just the right height to rest a foot while drying off after a shower. It's substantial and isn't at risk of tipping over without a seriously strong shove.

The product, a porcelain Chinese garden stool, was very securely packaged and arrived even sooner than anticipated. Overall, I was extremely pleased that I was able to find this garden stool at Overstock.com. In fact, it was also located at a couple of other websites but at a much higher price for the same, exact product. I would not hesitate to use Overstock.com again for more purchases.
