Story Behind the Art:
'My name is Neri and I love to design and craft beautiful handmade jewelry made from stones, pearls, and shells native to the Philippines Islands. In 2002, I started a small business with my family in the small provincial town of Minglanilla, Cebu selling whatever we could find in the local market. Slowly, I began to create and design jewelry to sell at the market. Business began to pick up and our family business began to grow. Eventually, we opened up a workshop in Minglanilla to create the handmade jewelry and accessories. Over time, we were able to open weekend shops in several Cebu City malls to sell our most popular designs. The work and travel is not easy, but it is rewarding.'

Statement Piece
If you are looking for an oversized necklace as a "statement" piece this item will be perfect.The item was slightly larger then what I expected but I am still happy with it. It feels very comfortable and not heavy even with its size. My only issue was not with the product but for some reason although my order qualifed for free shipping, the post office charged me $1.23 when picking up my package. I contacted Overstock, whom immediately issued me a refund. They were not sure why the vendor did that.

EXOTIC AND UNIQUE
I was quite impressed with this piece from the Philippines. The coral pieces are very bright and lively and it definitely adds pizazz to your outfit. I bought this for my sister who loves handmade/artsy pieces and she adores it. I highly recommend!

Really Chic!
Very nice necklace that got compliments. I actually helped my Mum to buy another one of it because she fell in love with it when she saw mine. Except for the hook, the necklace was well hand made which made my Mum and I to change the hooks.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Nice necklace and the coral but the only snag is the finishing which is the pearl hook. I had to get another piece of better quality hook to give it that chic look.
