Product Features:
Being handmade from recycled salvaged wood materials each item may differ from the next due to slight variations in color-gradients, distress marks and size. The functional design and structure of each item however remains the same despite these minor cosmetic differences, adding to the items natural character.
Story Behind the Art:
These items are handmade in Thailand of recycled wood, salvaged from old torn down houses, boats, schools and buildings. Each frame and accent item is one of a kind and in effect, an artifact due to the process of its creation. The frames and other decor pieces are used to capture the memories, art, and the essence of life whilst being entirely eco-friendly. Promoting sustainability and fair trade, the wood pieces are purchased from local woodworkers who set out to collect wood from torn down building sites including some old Tsunami wreckages. They then employ local artisans to make the items using their original craft and manufacturing methods in Thailand.
What is Worldstock?
The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.

very cute, but small
This is a very cute little tray. The picture looks like the handles are on the longer side - they're not - they're on the top and bottom. that's no big deal though. the horizontal pieces of wood are not uniform on mine - some are wider than others. i haven't used it to carry anything (it's very small), but i am using it to hold tv remotes, etc. on a weathered coffee table and it looks great. i had wanted this item for a long time and eventually bought it with in-store credit on a non-related return. not sure i would have paid the asking price out of pocket, but am really glad i eventually got it. it's lovely.

The tray was exactly as pictured. The colors are pretty and it looks very antique. Smaller than I expected for the price. But I should have measured it 1st so I own that.
