I am a winter hat afficionado, and this is definetly a very cool hat to have in your wardrobe. Fits nicely and looks well made. The material was heavier/more durable feeling than I expected it to be from previous reviews. Overall, good value and addition to the collection. Only thing I was slightly dissapointed in is that the colors were alot darker than the picture. It was more deep blue/purple in hue than I had hoped. Like it says though, each product is unique, and I really like it nonetheless.

This is a great hat, very well made. I bought it as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it. I would much rather support a third world community than buy some piece of junk at the local mall!

I loved this hat- it is so cool looking. Unfortunately it kept stretching out, getting bigger and bigger every time that I wore it. Finally last weekend while I was out shopping it fell off my head and was lost!

i have purchased several of these hats...i LOVE them!! funky and cool for sure. They all differ a tad and the only trouble i have had with any of them was one whos top seam came undone...easy fix. The first one i got did stretch a bit....but a wash and dry zaps them back! I have some and i have proudly given them as gifts...as i said I love these hats!

Bought this hat for bad hair days and to keep warmer in Alaska. The multi-color helped keep me from looking washed out in the rain and it was surprisingly comfortable, not itchy! Didn't stretch out but fit nicely - perfect!

I got this hat about a month ago. When I received it, it had this weird musty smell that immediately gave me a headache. I aired it out and wore it a bunch. It was AWESOME at first! It has now stretched out sooo much that I feel like I'm wearing a giant jellybean on my head! I dunno what to do 'cause the has says "dry clean only." Another reviewer said it shrinks in the wash- I may give it a shot.... BUT, The colors in the hat are AWESOME. It is a tad scratchy but not too bad at all.

I enjoy purchasing unusual international items for gifts, especially if it helps people to a better economy. I wanted to return the hat but that was not an option. The problem was two-fold. Firstly, this wonderful recycled silk, though beautifully colorful, was "fuzzy/fraying" on the edges and would become more so with wear. This might not be a problem except the person I bought it for is very neat and would not wear it if it seemed untidy. Secondly, I saw the exact same hat on a stand at my local mall for a cheaper price. Disappointing.

The hat is a must----especially for those who wear dreads.......lovin; it!!!!!!!

It might be ok for a 3 year old except that it's too scratchy. I bought it for myself, but we used it for our snowman instead.

This is a really cute hat, very colorful, and actually kinda versatile. I have really short hair and it fits nicely. I did notice that all previous reviewers said they washed theirs, however, the tag says, "dry clean" only. It has a very European look, real cute and very roomy, fitted at the band.

I got both this hat and the scarf - hue varies slightly but they look great together - adds to the charm and hand made look. The colors and texture are very rich. Looks very expensive. I have even been stopped in public and asked where I got them! Hat seemed a little tight at first - but after a few hours it fit perfectly. Has not stretched or become loose - just stays the size of my head. Bing multi-colored they go with EVERY coat and jacket I own!
