Thes are definately a piece of art. The base on the lamp could have been of better quality but I don't think anyone will notice anything but the glasswork. I resolved the issue of no turn off switch very easily by purchasing an inline switch for each one(I bought two) The switch cost a couple dollars and now I have two very unique lamps. Thanks again Overstock for another great find.

As the previous reviewer suggested, don't buy this for the colors in the picture. Mine arrived with all clear glass, which is definitely not what I was looking for. The product itself is attractive and interesting-looking.

Although this lamp was pictured with bits of color fleck in it, it came without any color bits at all. However, I'm glad that it did as it is so beautiful when illuminated and I think the color would have detracted from it's appearance. It has the "Coke bottle" blue-green hue to it that is absolutely amazing when lit. It is also attractive and interesting when it is not on as well. It is a unique piece that you just can't find at the "big box modern design warehouses." It's so nice to have something in my home that is hand crafted, uncommon and artistic. I was looking at pieces 5 to 10X more expensive than this. I consider this a GREAT buy!

Though this light is beautiful, my version is made entirely of the bluish glass. The discription says that the product can vary slightly in color and size. However, the reason I chose this design from the others is because it has pieces of colored glass in it.

I love these lamps. They are stylish and unique. I recommend them.

Well made and absolutely beautiful. Very reflective because of the pieces of cut glass which are held togther with wire in the most intricate way. I had ordered 2 of these lamps about 3 years ago and was gald to see them back. I ordered 2 more for our new home. It is true that the legs don't match the quality of the work of lamp, but it honestly doesn't detract from the beauty of the lamp.

I was looking for a small, reasonably priced lamp for my bedroom. This was quite different from others I'd' seen. The fact that it was made from recycled glass was intriguing. This was my first purchase from Overstock.com, and I'm happy with it.

I really like the lamp. I set it on my bar underneath two large paintings featuring banana leaf plants or maybe birds of paradise ( not sure) but the leaves have green tones. the lamp gives a very sexy glow to the bar, paintings and room. I placed a green spiral bulb in the lamp as the white bulbs bleached the glass color to much. I also have the snake green glass lamp in another room next to art work. The glass can cut you as others have warned not to child friendly. I would recommend this product .

This lamp is so unique, that despite the cheaply constructed base and the fact that the cord has no switch, it is a joy to have in our living room. We put in a flood light bulb which allows some uplighting, and brings out the greenish hues of the glass. The form is a swirl that keeps the eye moving. I have seen similar lamps for literally hundreds of dollars more. I am thrilled with this, and as usual, quick shipment by Overstock!

I received not too long ago. Overall, it is a nice lamp, but here are my two issues with it: 1) The chord/lamp does not have an on/off switch, you have to plug,unplug the lamp. This is fine if your lamp is plugged into a socket that is controlled by a light switch or if you are interested in rewiring the lamp to get a switch on the cord. 2) The silver base looks cheap, almost plastic. It is not, but the welding job is sloppy. I want to cut it off. BUT, ignoring these two comments, the glass portion is very nice, especially when lit. The one a received is all blue tinted glass (which is normal for glass), it looks white when lit---DOES NOT EMIT BLUE HUE. I will most likely alter the base and wiring---and then I will be 100% pleased with it.

The product has to be plunged in to use, it does not have a switch to turn the lamp on and off. It is beautiful.

Overall appearance and structure are good. However, beware there isn't an on and off switch.

I got this for my VERY picky sis and her husband. THEY LOVED IT! I was so happy. It was clear glass, beautiful. The cord was REALLY long and weird though.

I bought this lamp as an afterthought and I am so glad that i did. This is a beautiful work of art and is a wonderful addition to my bedroom.

It's beautiful! I love what it does to the room and the wall. It's very very sharp. (not for kids)
