This is a beautiful and unique lamp. It is more like a piece of art sculpture. I searched long and hard for a lamp that would make a difference and this is it! I am extremely pleased.

This lamp is more beautiful in person than on the screen. The workmanship is beautiful and this is a unique item that you will not find elsewhere. I do want to mention that the picture does not show the glass well. This item is sharp and not really kid-friendly.

I hate this lamp. It has no switch and a white cord that is long enough to wrap around the room. It also is sharp on the edges and seems like it would splinter off glass easily. I returned it right away.

I have bought a lot of things from overstock and always have been pleased. This one surpassed all expectations. It is very stable, well constructed and everyone that comes in comments about it. Excellent price as well. By the way when you put the bulb in be a little careful because the glass is sharp on the inside. It is not a big concern, but one should be aware.

I expected this lamp to be clear on the sides and green on the edges (I was thinking of wine bottle green), when it is actually all uniformly a seafoam bluish green in color. It's beautiful and very tranquil, so I decided to keep it. It is more a piece of sculpture than a light. So, if you are looking for a unique contemporary piece that enchants a room with light, this is a fantastic choice. As another reviewer mentioned, it has sharp edges, and is not meant for children. However, as light/sculpture, it's beautiful!

• Did the color match the color displayed onsite? No, the color is not as pictured or described. It's difficult to catch the color of glass in photos. The whole lamp is a beautiful seafoam bluish green. Although that was not the color I was expecting, it's too beautiful to return.

We bought this lamp to provide a point of interest in our "new" reading room - we've been remodeling our home, primarily decorated with items from our overseas assignments in the Air Force - this was the perfect accent for this room! We love the lamp itself, and actually used a blue lightbulb - nice effect!

It is beautiful It is very sharp on the inside - if you're clumsy like me, wear work gloves. Just picking the thing up gave me a couple good slices on my fingers. There IS an on/off switch, so Overstock must have actually read the complaints about that missing function. It's an art piece, not a lamp. I will probably purchase one of the other designs in the near future. I would give it 5 for looks, and 3 for function.

I was looking for a new tablelamp...read the reviews, and ordered. Took a chance, once again, with Overstock. Was a great move, once again!!! This is a good-looking lamp. It has no on/off switch, and must be unplugged and plugged in every time one wishes to use it. No biggie. It is such a beautiful lamp, I don't care.

This lamp is beautiful and unique, I've been trying out different color bulbs, each one has its own different effect. Since it doesn't come with an on/off switch, I did purchase an electric cord with a switch that I can hang between my cushions. My husband wasn't too sure it would be tall enough on a table behind our couch, but I just put a square block of wood under it and that works for me. You only live once, and I say, buy what you like, can't take it with you .so might as well enjoy it now. Love it.

The lamp is beautiful. We had to connect another cord to it because it had no On/Off switch, requiring it to be unplugged from the socket wall plug. We found an on off dimmer switch and its easy to use at a hardware store.. $ 8.00. We would still purchase another due to its beauty.

I was so excited when my lamp arrived. It is quite heave. Actually, I was not happy with the way the electrical source is attached so I took the glass piece and am using it as a decoration. I always have the option of converting back to a lamp if I decide to do so. Whatever happens with the "lamp", I already receive comments on it and it's not even lit up. I wish I could get this in a 5 foot size. It's awesome.

I love the lamp. I would have given it a 5 star rating yet it doesnt have a switch. I put a green bulb in it to accenuate the glass look. A white bulb bleachs out the glass green heu too much I would recomment it. I was going to buy the round one yet it no longer is avaiable.

This has been one of my greatest Overstock buys to date. It is a beautiful lamp and very well made. It is very sharp due to being cut recycled glass, so keeping it away from children and pets might be a good idea. There is not an on/off switch, but there are ways of solving that tiny problem. The craftsmanship put into this lamp makes it well worth the price paid. It is also one step closer to going green. Don't forget to use the low energy bulb though. Hope this helped.
