Story Behind the Art:
This product was created in North Western India. Once the British removed its armed forces from the region in the late 40s a majority of the industries available for the local economy disappeared with them. The indigenous people went back to the traditional crafts and furniture manufacturing that they had known for generations. This industry has truly created a renaissance in economic growth in the region.

Exactly as it looks
What a great piece for an end table. I called the local glass shop and had a piece of glass cut at 24" diameter, 3/8" thick and tempered. It looks amazing and such a fun end table.

Fun, Rustic and eye catching
Loved the rustic look of this table. Had a piece of glass to add to it and it worked out perfectly. The peeled paint on the table is its charm and really adds a touch of uniqueness and interest to a room. Very happy with the table; wish I'd ordered two.

Nice, Just what I expected
Very nice piece, exactly as represented. I didn't expect it to be exactly the same as a picture as each one is unique, but it adds a nice touch to my decor, which is actually quite contemporary and this gives me that mix of old and new that is so hot right now.

Pretty much as expected
You really need the right decor for this. Luckily it worked in the room I was putting it in.... It's ok built, ok painted, nice, functional, etc. But nothing to write home about.

Beautiful table
I love the table and have gotten great comments on it. That being said, I sometimes look at it and think "did I really spend that much on it". It's beautiful and unique, but not sure it was worth what I paid.

Exactly what I was looking for
I bought 2 of these tables for my sunroom. They are wonderful, adding a splash of color and coordinating perfectly with a rug I bought elsewhere. The predominant color is blue (multiple shades of blue). In the picture it looked like there might be some browns or reds but this is the wood and not paint. The painted sections are blue, blue green and pale yellow.

exactly as pictured
I wanted this the minute I saw it. My mother bought it as an early birthday present so I have had it for several months now. Finally a piece that had a little bit of blue in it, one of my accent colors in the living room. Mine actually has two different blues, a light one like the pic and a darker blue somewhere between royal and navy (a color I might see as a Colonial paint chip color). I do not have glass for it like some of the other reviewers, but I am using it as a table to set keys and mail on when I first enter the door so no need for glass. Each of these are different, but if you like what you see in the pic, you will not be disappointed... colorwise, anyway. Size is perfect for an end table, although I do not think accessorizing the table as it is would work.
