Story Behind the Art:
This product was created in North Western India. Once the British removed its armed forces from the region in the late 40s a majority of the industries available for the local economy disappeared with them. The indigenous people went back to the traditional crafts and furniture manufacturing that they had known for generations. This industry has truly created a renaissance in economic growth in the region.

Unique Piece
This is a wonderful, unique, eco- and labor-friendly table. The photos represented the product perfectly, no surprises. The table was delivered in a prompt and courteous manner by a local delivery company and was a snap to put together. My only complaint is that I was not able to get accurate assembly info from the people at Overstock. They really need to get this part of doing business together. I placed the order and called to ask about assembly and was told that they did not know and it was too late to cancel my order anyway. The lost star is for the poor customer service at Overstock.

Solid table
Great table, solid construction, solid hardware, looks great. No complaints. It's a smidge smaller than reflected. I believe the dimensions were 1.5" less everywhere except height. Not a big deal, but the length I was hoping to be spot on 73 or longer and it's barely 71.25. Still happy with the purchase though.

Don't buy reclaimed wood, unless you like rotted wood, possible insects... This also had a funny finish that kept wiping off--like a thick, rusty grime. Maybe it was meant to be a finish, but it wasn't sealed, so it rubbed off everywhere. On the flip side, Overstock custome service was to notch, extremely helpful and refunded my money quickly. Thank you!

Really Great BUT leaves water marks from cups
Beautiful table but it leaves water rings. Not sure if I'm supposed to treat the table with something to provent this?

Love this table!
I love this table. It is beautiful and if I had actually seen it in person before buying it, I would have been willing to pay more. It only took 13 days to deliver. It is heavy, but my husband and I were able to manage it ourselves. You only have to screw the legs on and it was super easy. It is slightly smaller than advertised. My table is 38.5 inches wide by 71 inches long, which for me, is no problem. I don't think I could be happier about this purchase.
