The coffee table is sturdy and stable. It is rather rustic in appearance, although very attractive in general. The wood, unlike that of some other reclaimed teak furniture, does not look likely to chip. Unfortunately, the workmanship in fitting together the planks that comprise the top of the table is less than perfect. The seams between the planks are quite visible, especially on one half of the tabletop. Still, this is the best table that I have been able to find to put between a small sofa and a large rear projection TV screen. Like other pieces of teak furniture that I have bought from Overstock, it arrived in a box marked "C.G. Sparks" with the indication that the finish was "Natural." There is considerable variation among the natural finishes, although this did not create a problem the way the furniture is distributed. The coffee table arrived assembled. It was in good condition, and it was well-packaged. I would have rated the table higher except for the way the pieces of wood in the top were fitted together.
