The Story Behind the Art
This product was created in North Western India. Once the British removed its armed forces from the region in the late 40s a majority of the industries available for the local economy disappeared with them. The indigenous people went back to the traditional crafts and furniture manufacturing that they had known for generations. Several hub cities of industry have flourished, creating numerous, sustainable, and stable jobs for the people of the surrounding villages, to augment the time in between harsh growing seasons. The industry that has been created by products like this has created an unprecedented number of schools, hospitals, and improvements in infrastructure.

Nice Table
I bought this table to put next to a couch and it looks great. It came assembled and on the day I was told it would arrive. It honestly looks exactly the same as the picture. It would also probably be nice as a nightstand.

Beautifully crafted
These are beautifully made tables. We bought two and are using them as nightstands. I like that they are reclaimed, and the colors of the wood. The drawers are nice- although they don't pull very smoothly (not something that bothers me). I would definitely recommend this product.

Distinct one of a kind
Excellent craftsmanship, unique finish! This reclaimed teak table is nice due to the characteristic of the wood making each piece one of a kind. The simplicity of design in this table makes it a perfect accent table. A bit on the pricey side but it is teak and becoming more rare all the time. Overall, I love it!

Almost too perfect
This table is beautiful. One can tell that it was made with care and pride. Clean, simple, and very well constructed. It came fully assembled and expertly packed. I read some of the early reviews that mentioned shipping damage, but it would appear that issue has been resolved. The one (humorously) negative thing that I might have to say about this table is that it would appear that the artisans in India who crafted it went out of their way to hide the fact that it is constructed from reclaimed wood! For a "reclaimed teak" piece, it is almost too perfect! However, it does retain the texture and character for which I was looking in the piece. Perfect... and at a very fair and reasonable price.

Almost perfect, except drawers.
We purchased to be a vanity holding a vessel sink in a small bathroom. After sealing it really well with polyurethane, it has held up beautifully and it perfect for a vessel sink if you do not want counter space around. My only complaint that kept it from getting perfect is the drawers stick pretty bad and would drive me crazy as a nightstand if I needed to get into often.
