'From an early age I loved natural things--plants, animals, birds or sea life. Because my life has always centered on animals and other natural themes, I use these as my subjects, usually interpreted in tropical woods. Now I have the opportunity to create art subjects incorporating not only Indonesian wildlife but also others from all corners of the Earth.
'Although I have no formal art training and work purely from my own inspiration and intuition, I know what looks good and what doesn't look right in a carving. I particularly want to create wildlife and other animal themes in an exact, realistic and original way. Each piece is carefully created with this realism in mind. I will not allow anything out of my hands that I would not want to own and display in my own house. It's my highest desire that every piece goes to a home and will give great joy for as long as the owner has it.'

Gorgeous!
I purchased this statuette as a gift for my husband who collects duck decoys. He was very happy with it. It is beautifully carved, painted, and detailed, making it an elegant edition to his collection. As another reviewer mentioned, the tail is much longer than the photo indicates, giving it a graceful appearance. I highly recommend it.

Excellent Workmanship
This gift was exactly what I wanted and looks great in our home. My husband was very happy with this gift. The carving itself isn't overly detailed but the painting is very realistic. I will definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a duck carving or decoy.

Carefully & Beautifully Done
I am very pleased with this beautifully done wood carving. The artists attention to the details of the pintail duck are carefully & gracefully done. The tail is longer than the picture shows & gives the piece a more delicate & flowing feeling combined with the curve of the neck & head. The painting details are excellent. I think you will treasure this piece, as I do. A really lovely work of art.

Love this pintail duck
This is so beautiful. It is perfect. The detail is unbelievable. We thought it look great in the photo; when it arrived, we were so thrilled to see all the extra sculpting details which didn't show in the photo. This was crafted with such care. The direction of the wood grain was so thoughtfully planned. The painting of all the feathers and dotted details is absolutely perfect. We own many ducks sculptures collected over many years. This is now our favorite.
