I am very pleased with this beautifully done wood carving. The artists attention to the details of the pintail duck are carefully & gracefully done. The tail is longer than the picture shows & gives the piece a more delicate & flowing feeling combined with the curve of the neck & head. The painting details are excellent. This is so beautiful. It is perfect. The detail is unbelievable. We thought it look great in the photo; when it arrived, we were so thrilled to see all the extra sculpting details which didn't show in the photo. This was crafted with such care. The direction of the wood grain was so thoughtfully planned. The painting of all the feathers and dotted details is absolutely perfect. We own many ducks sculptures collected over many years. This is now our favorite.
