These artists and their predecessors have been creating sarongs for centuries and are well known throughout the world for their skill, creativity and expertise. Batik is also a design method that has been employed for centuries and is handed down from generation to generation, usually from a father to son or mother to daughter. It is an extremely difficult art to master. Each batik sarong is a work of art and can take hours and sometimes days to create depending on the difficult of the design

prettier than picture
for some reason when i ordered this sarong i thought the material would be a little thicker or heavier than it actually was. but its ok because i prefer it to be a little lighter since i'm taking it on a cruise next month. the color is actually a little brighter than what is shown in the picture, more vibrant. plenty of length. overall very happy
