Never thought I'd buy a rug with pink or purple in it, but the cheerful colors on this Peruvian design brighten up an otherwise dark hallway. The rug is significantly thinner than I expected (hence I gave it a "good" instead of "excellent") but it is thickly woven wool so it is substantial and feels great. It will need a pretty thick pad underneath to keep it from skidding and give it cushion. Even with the light colors the tight wool weave and the fact it's reversible should make it last a very long time.
