After a little hesitation, I ordered this table and was very pleasantly pleased when it arrived. The are a few slightly rough areas that aren't sanded and polished exactly smooth -such as under the tray and the bottom inside the doors- but it's not extremely bad. Actually, I expected it to be rougher than it is and expected the carvings to be somewhat of a problem and the glass panels to be loose. Not at all. The glass panels are tight and the carvings are very nice. I was very impressed with the legs which is all we had to attach. Each side had one very sturdy piece with a front and back leg carved into each piece. We just had to put the dowels and screws into the bottom of each piece and it was done. The way this was designed made the table very sturdy. Although we measured and compared to another piece for size comparison, I was very surprised that the inside had as much room as it does. We are very happy with this purchase.

I had my eye on an antique tea table at a local shop. I waited to create space for it and when I returned it was gone. Finding this replica on Overstock was such a deal.
