'I was born in Maesai, Chiangrai, on the border of Thailand and Burma. My aunt makes jewelry and she has been very kind to me. So that I could study in a good school in Chiang Mai, I went to stay with her and she paid for my tuition, for food, for everything! I feel so fortunate! While living with her, I became familiar with jewelry. Leaving Chiangrai was the biggest challenge in my life. I experienced the big city, studied in a good school, made great friends and learned all about jewelry. It made my life so much better, and my parents are happy and proud of me.'
